These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Accident Assist Line website (accidentassistline.com.au) and our accident tow, repair and insurer-liaison coordination service, operated by Everyday Car Repair Network Pty Ltd (ABN 88 634 541 638), trading as Accident Assist Line ("we", "us", "our"). By calling our hotline, submitting a callback request, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these terms.
1. About our service
Accident Assist Line is a vehicle accident assistance service. We coordinate accident towing (in line with Victoria's accident towing allocation arrangements administered by VicRoads / the Department of Transport and Planning), arrange vehicle repairs through our panel of repairers, and liaise with your insurer on your behalf. We are not an insurance provider, an insurer, or an emergency service, and we are not affiliated with any insurance company.
2. Emergencies
If you or anyone else is injured, or there is a risk to life or property, call 000 immediately. Do not rely on this website or our hotline for emergency response.
3. Using our website and callback form
When you submit a callback request through our website, you agree to provide accurate and current information (your name, phone number, and any details about your accident). We will use this information solely to contact you back and coordinate the assistance you've requested, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You must not use our website or callback form to submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, or for any unlawful purpose.
4. Coordination services, not a guarantee
We take reasonable steps to coordinate a suitable tow operator and repairer for your circumstances and to liaise with your insurer, but we do not guarantee particular outcomes, timeframes, repair quality provided by third-party repairers, or insurer claim decisions, all of which remain the responsibility of the relevant third party or your insurer.
5. Costs
In most cases towing and repair costs are covered through your insurance policy, subject to your policy terms and any applicable excess. We will confirm your specific cost position with you and your insurer before work proceeds. Nothing on this website constitutes a quote or a binding cost commitment.
6. Third-party services
Towing, repairs, and insurance claim decisions are carried out by independent third parties (tow operators, repairers, and insurers). We are not liable for the acts, omissions, delays, or quality of work of these third parties, though we will assist in resolving issues where reasonably possible.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or services. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Website content
We take reasonable care to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but we make no warranty as to its completeness or accuracy. Content on this site does not constitute legal, financial or insurance advice — for questions about your specific policy, contact your insurer directly.
